Is the blade real metal?
No. The MISTBOUND katana is a lightweight plastic toy prop with no sharp edges and no metal blade. It's made for cosplay, display and photos.
How long is it?
41 inches (104 cm) from tip to handle, a true 1:1 full-size katana.
Does the blade really light up and make mist?
Yes. The blade glows with LED light and releases a soft mist for that anime-scene look. You can also use it with the light off.
Is a sheath included?
Yes. Every katana comes with a matching white sheath and tassel.
Can I bring it to an anime convention?
Most conventions allow plastic props with no metal parts, but every event has its own weapon-prop rules. Check your convention's policy before you go.
Is it a good gift?
It's one of the most-wanted gifts for anime fans. It arrives in a premium MISTBOUND box that's ready to wrap.
Is this an official licensed product?
No. MISTBOUND is an original anime-inspired design and is not affiliated with any anime, studio or brand.
